How to make dreams come true with a little bit of planning and organisation
When was the last time you saw yourself fulfilling a dream? Do you remember which decisions you had to make to make it real? Desiring is just the first step. To see your dream come to life, you need to create a plan with specific and achievable goals. And that’s where planning and organisation will help you. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's easy to get swallowed up by routine. If we aren't careful, months, years, or an entire lifetime slip away. Going through the motions will lead you to sideline your dreams for a 'better' moment—one that will probably never arrive. And that is the perfect recipe for frustration.

Living with presence and intention is the way out of complacency
Take in your surroundings, notice where you are at this moment, and ask yourself what you aspire to in the multiple areas of your life. Do you wanna buy a house? A new car? Build a family? Travel the world? What choices are you making today that get you closer to these goals? Well, if you don’t even know where you want to go, it’s time to think about it. Dream big, no judgments. And after discovering what makes your heart sparkle, make yourself a reminder.
If you can dream it, you can make it
Now think about your dreams more tactically. Divide it into small parts. What do you need to do to make it real?
For example, if you dream about traveling to China, you’ll need to catch a plane and travel for 12 hours — If you go with a direct flight. And how much does that cost? Where do you wanna go in China? Xangai? Beijing? How many days are necessary to get to know each city? Do you wanna stay in a hotel, or maybe a hostel? What are the prices?
Research the possibilities, estimate the amount of money you’ll need to travel comfortably. You can find lots of good information online.
With all that information compiled in a spreadsheet, it will be easy to visualize it. Now, you can see more precisely how much it costs to make your trip. Is it too much? Or is it not as expensive as you imagined? You will probably be surprised by how certain things are more accessible than we think.
Now it’s time to decide when you wanna go and commit yourself to your chosen deadline. Put it in your calendar. That way, you’ll have a clearer view of the amount of time you’ll have to organise yourself and make things happen.

Create a vision board
Write down your dreams. If possible, with images, collages, and keywords that make your desire as visual as possible. With your board ready, keep it somewhere visible, so you can revisit it from time to time and remember what your achievements are.

Define your action plan
Divide your big goal into smaller goals, with shorter deadlines in the middle of your big deadline, and start acting.
Now your dream has officially become a measurable, achievable goal. And with discipline, I know you’ll get to where you plan.
Extra tips
Make a checklist with every concern, step, or important thing related to your goal that comes to your mind. Writing things down will help you understand your next steps and relieve the anxiety of forgetting any stuff.
From time to time, analyze your schedule and take notes of your progress. That will empower you with the feeling that you’re accomplishing things and motivate you to keep going.
Planning and organisation can be the shortcut you’re searching to make your dreams come true. What do you think? Are you ready to take the next steps?
